History

The Peruvian Canadian Chamber of Commerce began its official activities in July 2005 in the city of Toronto. Thanks to the support of the consulate general of Peru, a group of Peruvian residents organized themselves to develop the statutes and objectives that allowed us to put our organization into operation.

Four pillars have been the basis of the vocation of service to professionals, organizations and companies interested in establishing commercial relations between Canada and Peru.

- Develop business skills
- Enhance the knowledge and communication of the parties
- Promote the start of business opportunities
- Promote a sense of social responsibility

In February 2013 a new initiative in the city of Montreal, allows the creation of the Chamber of Commerce in the east of Canada. Without having the autonomy and independence of the Toronto Chamber, a bond of brotherhood and vision was established and they are currently working as sister Chambers and on the basis of common objectives.

In parallel 2013, the Vancouver office was created and with this, our organization is located in the west, center and east of the country to offer its services in an integral way.

Currently the Chamber is the commercial reference of Peru for Canadian professionals and companies that have an interest in developing business opportunities in the Peruvian market.
